Echo Projection - Close to None
Butoh begins with the abandonment of identity and from that the soul begins to radiate out from the body. It is both unforgettable and divine- a step into the dark unknown.
It is the motion of life in its pain and joy, in search of the hidden sides of the soul. Perhaps beginning with confusion it never fails to end in gratitude for the fullest expression of life engaging with the infinite self.
Title : WOMB Duration: 4 days
a space in which timeless pure form can exist. a point of nothingness and end becomes beginning. WOMB is a created space free from the expectation, judgement, and time of the outside world . For the continuum of the piece, the artist never left the space, surviving and reacting with what was brought inside the womb through external factors. Film, photography, installation and paintings were produced from this experience, ending in the “birth” of the exhibition.
